Binder Development provides construction, land development, and project advisory services across the Highlands–Cashiers Plateau. Construction services are performed by Lawrence Binder, a licensed Building Contractor in the State of North Carolina.
Land development focuses on preparing properties for long-term use—establishing access, grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure including wells and septic systems. This phase is approached with an emphasis on early decision-making, working closely with landscape architecture to align site planning, tree preservation, drainage patterns, and long-term stewardship of the property.
Construction centers on the vertical building of structures, including estate homes, carriage houses, guest cottages, and supporting buildings. Work is executed using permanent materials and traditional building methods, with careful attention to proportion, durability, and long-term performance.

Owner Representation
For clients building in the Highlands region, Binder Development provides owner representation throughout the design and construction process.

Builder Representation / Project Advisory
